Sending Flowers to Tunisia Over New Year and January Holidays
You can send flowers to Tunisia over the New Year holiday, but only on a day the florist actually delivers. TunisiaFlowers offers next-day delivery Monday to Saturday, and there are no deliveries on Sundays or main public holidays, so January 1 itself is not a delivery date. Order before midnight Tunisia time the day before you want the flowers to arrive, and pick a date on either side of the holiday.
Can you send flowers to Tunisia on New Year's Day?
Not on January 1. New Year's Day is a public holiday in Tunisia, and the service does not deliver on main public holidays. The nearest option is a Monday to Saturday delivery just before or after the holiday. Decide whether an early arrival or a slightly later one suits your recipient better. If they prefer French, your printed card can read "Bonne année" (Happy New Year).
Which days have no flower delivery in Tunisia?
Two kinds of days have no deliveries:
- Every Sunday
- Main public holidays, such as New Year's Day and Revolution and Youth Day
Same-day delivery is not offered on any day, so every order is a next-day delivery. Sundays catch people out more than holidays do. In 2027, Valentine's Day (February 14) and Mother's Day (May 30, the last Sunday of May) both fall on a Sunday, so the flowers must arrive on the Saturday before. The table below gives the order-by dates.
How does next-day delivery work when a holiday falls mid-week?
An order placed before midnight Tunisia time arrives the following day, as long as that day is a Monday to Saturday and not a public holiday. If the day after your order is a holiday, the flowers cannot arrive that day. Count back from the date you want, and skip any Sunday or holiday in between.
For example, January 1, 2027 is a Friday. The holiday takes out the last working day of that week, so flowers meant for the first morning of the year cannot arrive on the day itself. The next delivery day is Saturday, January 2, and you should plan for that.
What is Revolution and Youth Day, and does it affect delivery?
Revolution and Youth Day (Fête de la Révolution et de la Jeunesse) falls on January 14. It is a public holiday in Tunisia that marks the 2011 revolution, and yes, it affects delivery because no flowers go out that day. The date shifts through the week each year. In 2027, January 14 is a Thursday, so an order placed on Wednesday, January 13 would not arrive on the holiday. Check the weekday before you choose a date in mid-January.
When should you order so flowers arrive in time?
Order at least 2 to 3 days ahead for any holiday or gift date. That margin covers Sundays, public holidays and the midnight cutoff. Here are the dates to watch:
| Date | Occasion | Delivery note | Order by |
|---|---|---|---|
| January 1 | New Year's Day | Public holiday, no deliveries | 2 to 3 days ahead, before midnight Tunisia time |
| January 14 | Revolution and Youth Day | Public holiday, no deliveries | 2 to 3 days ahead |
| December 25, 2026 | Christmas | Friday, a delivery day | Thursday, December 24 |
| February 14, 2027 | Valentine's Day | Sunday, so Saturday delivery only | Friday, February 12 |
| May 30, 2027 | Mother's Day | Sunday, so Saturday delivery only | Friday, May 28 |
When you place the order, include these details in the delivery instructions:
- The recipient's full name
- The full delivery address in Tunisia
- A phone number so the florist can coordinate the delivery
- A preferred time, if you have one (the florist tries to meet it, but exact time slots are not guaranteed)
- Your card message, which is free with every order
Which bouquets suit a New Year or January gift?
Bright, warm arrangements suit a New Year gift, and calm white ones suit a quieter January send. Sunny Pitcher Roses is a cheerful choice, Citrus Dream Medley is bright and fresh, and Peaceful White Cloud Cube gives a clean, calm look. Plants stay in the home longer than cut flowers, so a plant can suit a January gift well. For something extra to open, add a box of chocolates, a glass vase or balloons.

Frequently asked questions
What time do I need to order for next-day flower delivery in Tunisia?
Orders placed before midnight Tunisia time arrive the following day, Monday to Saturday. Same-day delivery is not available. Because Sundays and public holidays have no deliveries, count forward from the date you want to make sure the delivery day is a working day.
Can I choose an exact delivery time for flowers in Tunisia?
You can write a preferred time in the delivery instructions, and the florist tries to meet it. Exact time slots are not guaranteed. A general time you would like is more realistic than a fixed slot.
What currency and payment methods can I use to order from abroad?
Prices are charged in USD, with EUR and GBP shown for reference. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express through Stripe, or with PayPal. Orders are accepted from any country.
Does every flower order include a card message?
Yes. Every order includes a free printed card, so you can write your message when you place the order. A greeting card is also available as an add-on if you want a second card.
